Within this university, one of the key research centers is the Institute of Software Technologies and Engineering (ITIS), which is dedicated to scientific and technical research in the field of software technologies. Its main mission is to advance the development and application of software through research, innovation, education, and technology transfer.
A central challenge in software research lies in building reliable and secure software systems whose behavior can be predicted and whose errors can be minimized. ITIS therefore focuses its core research efforts on studying methods and tools that improve software development technologies, particularly in application areas that are sensitive to these challenges.
