Day 1 started with an introduction to ITIS UMA and the Victoria Network, giving our partners an insight into our research activities and innovation ecosystem.

We then headed to the Polo Nacional de Contenidos Digitales de Málaga, where we visited 42 Málaga Fundación Telefónica and OWO Game, discovering two initiatives that showcase Málaga’s dynamic digital and technological ecosystem.

In the afternoon, we continued our study visits at the Malaga TechPark | Parque Tecnológico de Andalucía, with visits to DEKRA and the Bioinnovation Building, providing an opportunity to explore the strong links between research, technology, entrepreneurship and industry in the region.

Day 2 focused on knowledge exchange and the Scale2Connect project. We enjoyed inspiring Business Success Stories from stakeholders including Telefónica, CSIC and Keysight Technologies, followed by presentations of successful research projects at UMA, including 6G-VERSUS and 6G-PATH.

The programme continued with the Scale2Connect plenary meeting, where partners discussed the progress of the project and the next steps ahead.

We also had the opportunity to discover Málaga city centre together during a guided tour, rounding off two very productive days.

A big thank you to all the Scale2Connect partners and contributors for joining us in Málaga and for the excellent discussions, exchanges and ideas throughout the meeting.
